FLOWER MAKING

FLOWER MAKING

Coming together is a beginning.
Keeping together is a progress.
Working together is a success.

It was indeed this mantra of working together that brought Sumermal Jain Public School, New Delhi, India and Govt. Girls High School, Hassan, Pakistan together for an International Interactive Learning Process under the ISA Action Plan – Art Mosaic – A Cultural Blend.

Ms. Fatima Mehboob, ISA co-ordinator of G.G.H.S Hassan, Pakistan in collaboration with ISA Co-ordinators Mrs. Roopali Sinha and Mr. Amit Kushwaha conducted an interesting interactive Skype session on flower making on 21st November 2019.

The event was graced by our intelligent Headmistress Mrs. Geeta Oberai. The session commenced by exchanging warm greetings from both sides. The students of G.G.H.S Hassan, Pakistan delivered an elaborate demonstration on flower making to the students of Sumermal Jain Public School, New Delhi, India.

Students of both the countries took great interest in learning each other’s Art and Craft activities. They did not leave any stone unturned to give their best.

Students of G.G.H.S Hassan, Pakistan taught the Art of Flower Making using crepe paper, scissors, shining wires, glue stick and pearls. Two different varieties of paper flowers were energetically taught and learnt by the students.

The student representative of G.G.H.S Hassan, Pakistan began the session by explaining the importance of paper flowers. The various steps were shown in the Skype session.

Students of Sumermal Jain Public School, New Delhi, India meticulously made those flowers on the spot and proved that nothing is impossible if one id determined to achieve one’s goal. It seemed like flowers of Carnation and Tulips had blossomed in the premises of Sumermal Jain Public School, New Delhi, India.

Those vibrant paper flowers added a new life to the school’s reception area. In a nutshell, this International Interactive Teaching Learning Process was a wonderful experience for one and all present there.
