ORGANIC IDEAS – GATEWAY TO GLOBAL HEALTH



“BEAUTY IS THE ILLUMINATION OF YOUR SOUL”

If that beauty can be illuminated using homemade organic cosmetic products, then it is truly an icing on the cake. Everybody wants to use products that are healthy for their body and skin and nowadays people are more aware of using organic products.


Students of SMJPS showcased their talent by preparing organic cosmetic products in an Inhouse Activity on ‘Organic Ideas – Gateway to Global Health’ on 27th Nov 2019. 






The students of classes IX and XI enthusiastically participated under the guidance of Guide teachers – Mrs. Archana Ahuja, Mrs. Vidhu Trikha and Mrs. Ritika Handa. The activity was conducted in the chemistry lab of the school.



Students were divided into four groups and they were assigned different tasks. They prepared rose water, face cream, hand sanitizer and face pack using the different herbs available in the Herbal Garden which was planted few months back in the school premises. 






The herb garden which was planted as a part of the same project, ‘Organic ideas: Gateway to Global health’ which was planted by students of class VIII.
The motto of this session was:- “Ditch the chemicals in face care routine”.







The ISA coordinators Mrs. Roopali Sinha and Mr. Amit Kumar Kushwaha applauded the participants for their whole – hearted efforts.


This in-house activity would definitely sensitize the participants towards the use of organic cosmetics for better results and acre of their skin. They would also encourage their family and friends to take cognizance of the importance of organic cosmetic products.

BRAINSTORMING SESSION ON GROWING IMPORTANCE OF ORGANIC PRODUCTS

An in-house activity on growing importance of organic products was held on 31st Aug’19 with cent percent participation of class VI students of SMJPS. The venue of this session was the lively Indira Devi Auditorium. This session was designed so that the kids learnt a lot about the importance of chemical free product in their daily life. Students were divided into four teams representing the countries of Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal and our own motherland India. The kids had dedicatedly collected data related to the topic with the help of internet, newspapers, journals and magazines. The aim of this session was to make the students aware about the need and importance of inculcating the habit of using chemical free products instead of using chemical based products.   In this, the team of students highlighted - leading and certified organic brands of these countries along with their implications and usages. ART MOSAIC: A CULTURAL BLEND

“THE ART OF COMMUNICATION IS THE LANGUAGE OF LEADERSHIP” Under the able guidance of the Principal Dr. Racchna Saddi, students of Sumermal Jain Public school participated whole heartedly in a collaborative activity on different Art forms. The art form taught was – Warli, a folk art from the State of Maharashtra. It was an interesting and interactive Teaching – Learning Process under the ISA action plan Art – Mosaic – A Cultural Blend. Ms. Fatima, ISA coordinator, along with her team of Govt. Girls High School, Hassan, Pakistan was contacted for Skype session followed by a video call on 20.11.19 at 10.15 a.m. The session began by exchanging warm greetings from both sides.
